Stop producing Kids?

Happy Day!

I thought this was interesting!

Some animal activists believe that if one farmer is abusive to livestock, that everyone should stop raising livestock.

Well, if we applied the same logic...some kids are abused, maybe we should stop producing kids!?

I definitely believe that farmers have a great story to tell.

A farmer MUST tell his own story.  The farm organizations are great, but the passion comes best from individuals.  Let America see into your life and world.

A lot of city people believe that farmers are all corporate farms and factory farms.  So, we need to be careful when we talk about "producers."  Do you think "producers" sound like a factory or manufacturing facility?  Producers is an internal word - from ag company to ag company.

When we talk to consumers or friends outside the immediate world of agriculture, try using personal words like "farmer" or "rancher."

The reality is that 98% of the farmers are really farm families!
