Under bright, blue skies the Gosper County Fair parade took off Saturday, August 2nd. The TeamMate Tailgate had a great time throwing candy and seeing familiar faces along the parade route. It was a great parade with lots of colorful floats and entries and we were happy to be joined by memers of the Elwood TeamMates program. And, It was so hot you didn't mind a water balloon or two coming your way. After the parade, Team KRVN members, Kathy Armagost, Megan Oaklund, Beth Rogers, Connie Schmeeckle and Mary Jane Wind set up registration in the shade in the park. We had a great time registering people and would like to congratulate the qualifier, Marge Schutz. She now goes into the big drawing to be held after Husker Harvest Days. we had a great time in Elwood and it was truly just a day in PARADISE!
