Motorcoach Stopover

It's no stretch to imagine celebrities traveling through Nebraska on the I-80 pipeline from the west coast to the east coast.  But, a Taylor Swift tour bus created a stir in Gothenburg on Tuesday(10-13-09).  It was parked in the Randazzle Cafe parking lot.  It's unlikely Swift was on the bus.  She performed in Las Vegas Saturday night according to her tour schedule.  Local speculation was that Taylor Swift's bus driver stopped in Gothenburg while she was on a plane to Memphis.

Years ago, in that same parking lot, I saw a NICKELODEON semi parked there, taking a break. I almost stopped to visit with him to see where he was coming from and headed to.

I think it's a nice stopping point for many truckers!

Heard all the talk the last two days about Taylor Swift buss and the other.

Just thought I would put in my note. We were coming back from Lincoln to Cozad one
day, when we were passed by a Jeff Gordon semi and also a large Ford 650 Jeff Gordon
truck.

Thought of how awsome it would be to see where they were going. What a suprise we
got when we pulled off the interstate at Cozad and saw both trucks refuling at the
gas station by Burger King. We stopped with our two kids, Cole & Erica. The
drivers were super nice & friendly. They let us see the two cars of Jeff's that
were in the semi, then gave us all t shirts, stickers and other cool things.

They explained that they were rolling from Michigan where Gordon had just won a race
and heading towards California. They also explained that Jeff has 4 of these
outfits and 8 cars traveling the nation to where ever the races will be.

A very interesting adventure thanks to the I-80 corridor coming through our hometown
of Cozad!
