This small Nebraska town knows how to CELEBRATE and the Road Trip was happy to participate in all the fun! We were lucky enough to be towards the front of the parade and it was a long one. Firetrucks, antique cars, horses, a blue moose, kids and cowboys! And that's just the beginning. Tons of people lined the parade route and we didn't have a piece of candy left at the end!

After the parade we pulled the Journey onto Medina Street for registration. What a crowd and they all flocked to the many different activities for kids of all ages. Root beer floats, pedal tractor pull, dunk tape, artwork and a ping pong drop were all part of the fun! The sponsors bringing us to Bertrand included: Blue Moose Bar & Grill, CHS Agri service Center, Convenience Plus, Fahrenbruch Farm Center, your local Cooperative and Tom Schwarz Hay Company.
