The Gibbon Volunteer Fire Department hosted the Wreckfest Demolition Derby on July 10th.   This was the first year to hold the event.   Dave Schroeder was there along with Barb Maloney(Sales) and her husband Jim.    Despite the heat, it was a great day and great derby!   Thanks to local sponsors for this KRVN Custom Ride stop, Gibbon Volunteer Fire Department and Mid- Nebraska Chemicals.   Also, two more people were added to the list of qualifiers for the final drawing for the beautiful blue Dodge pickup.  There are Linda Kovarik of Ord and Aston Crum of Nebraska City.
