Happy Day!

I was just listening to Chad Moyer on the news.  One of his stories was about the upcoming airing of Food Inc on TV in Nebraska.  Why do you think you should care?  Look at who paid for the program to be put together, then watch how things are said.  This program was up for an Oscar and many people believe everything they see in this picture. 

Thank you Farm Bureau for caring enough to organize Nebraska's farmers to air before and after this program and hopefully the people that watch the Food Inc will leave the program saying, but our Nebraska farmers aren't like this representation.

As a farmer, it really is up to you to speak up and tell the public that you do work to make a living but that you do it because you care and have a passion for what you do.  It is YOUR responsibility or more people will join efforts to put messages like this together.

Do you think Twitter and blogs aren't your thing?  Well, people are searching the internet for answers to their questions, and the only ones answering are these "other groups."  It's not the responsibility of other farm organizations, it is YOUR responsibilty.
