Here is a very rare collector tractor for you this week. Thanks to Roger Hunt for passing along this 1937 McCormick-Deering W-30 to us. Most likely one of the tractors that opened the prairie back in the day. It belongs to Tunie Locker of McDonald, Kansas.
Tunie just got it back from being restored in Goodland, Ks. Tunie says the tractor was a total disaster when they started work on it. They got the motor unstuck, cleaned it up, painted with new decals and put on new tires. It has a reconditioned magneto from Pennsylvania.
Roger reports that in-person, the W-30 is really sharp and sounds good, too! Tunie has several other restored IH tractors as his place as well. Also, he just had an 85th birthday party in McDonald last month. Happy Birthday, Tunie! Thanks for sharing your tractor with us!

Don't forget to send us your tractor to the email above! Or, mail a photo with description to Box 880, Lexington, Ne 68850.
