This past weekend Frank and I traveled to Minnesota for a short trip to see family and go watch the Minnesota Vikings football game.  Friday we stayed with Frank's brother and enjoyed a night out with the nephews and their families.  We headed to theTwin Cities Saturday and went to a sports bar that we knew would have the Huskers game on.  Oh my, that was ugly!  There were probably 40 other Husker fans in the place and everyone was disappointed.  We got over that and bought some new Vikings clothing (I got a Favre Jersey) and got psyched for the game against the Ravens.  We got up early Sunday, found a parking lot close and walked to the Humphrey Dome.  Purple EVERYWHERE!  Alot of people with Vikings horns on their heads and a ton of Brett Favre jerseys and/or shirts.  When I walked in the dome and headed down to our seats in Row 4 I couldn't believe I was there.   My dream to see the Vikings and the icing on the cake was to see Brett Favre play.  WOW!  He is still outstanding at 40 years old.  I took some pictures and cheered loudly.  We sat by some people that said they were from Nebraska too.  Minnesota was leading by a lot most of the game and the Ravens came back the second half and missed a 44 yard field game at the end of the 4th quarter and the Vikes are now 6 and 0!  We take on Pittsburg Sunday.  Attending a Vikings game every year, I'm up for that!
