We have another Kansas tractor for you this week. This very clean 1954 Oliver 88 gas Row Crop comes from Marion Otter of Clayton, Kansas. The tractor was purchased at an auction west of Norton, Kansas and was overhauled by Marion's son, Doug and his classmates at school.  Later, the paint was done by Robbie Jones of Lenora.

The 88 was part of Oliver's fleetline series from 1947 to 1954. It was powered by either a gas or diesel Waukesha 6-cylinder power plant.  It had right around 38 drawbar and PTO horsepower. It cost $3,000 new in 1954.
