1953 Case SC
Posted in Tractor of the Week at 04:03PM on 07/06/2010

Our first Case entered the lineup for Tractor Of The Week!  This tractor comes from Jeremiah Johnson of Wilcox, Ne.

Jeremiah says the tractor was purchased new in Holdrege by Rueben Anderson and then sold to his brother-in-law C.O. Johnson of Wilcox. It remains in the family today. The SC was restroed in the winter of '08-'09.  Since then it has seen many parades and the Johnson family enjoys plowing, corn picking, pulls and tractor drives with it.

You can see more of the Johnson family's tractors at www.johnsonfamilytractors.blogspot.com!  Thanks Jeremiah! I checked out your family's blog and you have some wonderful machines in your collection!

I have a little correction. I am the one who sent in the tractor for my family. It was purchased by Ruebens brother-in-Law Oscar A. Johnson. Then passed down to Oscar's son Lester C.O. Johnson. The restoration was done by Steve Johnson (Lester's son) and Jeremiah Johnson (Steve's son). It was painted by Kelly Morton, of Holdrege and Jeremiah Johnson.
