Sometimes the Cookie Doesn't Crumble

Following the Pender and Wisner Pilger girls basketball game on Thursday night, I had a surprise delivery by senior Celsey Wichman on behalf of the Pender girl's basketball team.  As I lifted the tin foil on the huge platter there sat the biggest cookie I have ever seen, at least in person.
Take a look at this beautiful creation because it has already been cut and partly devoured by yours truly.
Pender High School has always been a special place as all of our Sportsbooster Schools are, but when you get a large pizza size cookie telling you how much they care for you makes
Pender High School a little extra special.

Just for the record Tom, there will be another big cookie at the school on Monday March 15th in honor of PI(PIE) day.(PI, as in 3.14 or also known as March 14th, but we have to celebrate during a school day) This is an event that the math department puts on, and they invite the public to come and have Pie with the students. During the day the students will play educational games and eat pies. Each math student brings their favorite kind of pie and we will cut it into pie like pieces. We would like to invite you and any of your co-workers to come and enjoy PI Day with us.Thanks again Tom for all of your terrific broadcasts.
