One of my Tea Partying buddies at the NCBA convention was able to visit with the President of the NCBA and reports back that the only thing that matters, the only thing that we should focus on is CONSUMER BEEF DEMAND.  Evidently, every penny you make is directly and totally correlated to CONSUMER BEEF DEMAND.  Your only hope in this life and the next lies in CONSUMER BEEF DEMAND.  If you make money it is due to an uptick in CONSUMER BEEF DEMAND.  If you lose money, it is due to lackluster CONSUMER BEEF DEMAND.  In short, according to the NCBA, you are a slave to CONSUMER BEEF DEMAND and nothing you do or do not do will ever change that.  Accept your lot in life, slave. 

Wow.  And the NCBA is supposed to be the "sensible" organization.  God help us.

Profit per head with an $0.80 cost of gain = $40.64

Yep.  Making $40 per head with a $0.80 cost of gain.  That's all CONSUMER BEEF DEMAND.  (Snorf!)
