House Resolution 2749.  Memorize that bill number.  It passed the House on July 30th and is now in committee in the Senate.  It could be the straw that breaks the camel's back.  Henry Waxman, D-California, who is obviously possessed by demons (he also co-authored the cap-and-trade scam), is now moving to give the Food and Drug Administration authority to regulate every farm in the United States and specifically to force every farm to comply with idiotic "organic" standards.  This is the final vision of the "Country of Origin Labeling" stupidity. 

For any of you reading this who may have supported that COOL nonsense, all I can say is, smooth move, Ex-Lax.  In your quest to force the packers and retailers to subsidize your marketing incompetence and failure to make money in the most profit-laden industry in the world, you have handed all of agriculture in this country to a Marxist government hellbent on destroying the United States of America.  This proves the old adage, if you lie down with dogs, you get up with fleas.  I hope you're proud of yourselves.  I hope selling all of us out enables you to sleep soundly at night.    

These aren't silly little rules or an extra form to fill out once per year.  Click over to  http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h111-2749 and click on "Full Text" to read this monstrosity.  I particularly enjoyed Sections 131 and 132, entitled "Procedures for Seizure" and "Administrative Detention", respectively.  At least under Section 131, we will be tried by a jury after the arrest warrant is issued by the clerk of the court without court review.  Swell!  I guess we should be grateful that we won't just be summarily executed . . . yet.  Maybe that's what the National Civilian Security Force will be for? 

One of the sillier byproducts of this forced-"organic" thuggery will be the strict prohibition of children under five years of age stepping foot on farmland or tilled soil, for fear of leaking diapers.  So, here is what I propose.  I propose a nationwide baby poop-in.  Do you have non-potty trained children?  Are you unpotty-trained yourself?  Do you have farmland or tillable soil?  If so, please take your gastrointestinally uninhibited youngsters out into the middle of the field, and allow them to empty their bowels all over the ground.  No need to video - that's just gross.  Some things even YouTube doesn't need to see.  This will just be an act of private defiance.  If you elect to participate in the great American Poop-In yourself, remember to take a roll of parchment with you.  Some of those moist towelettes might not be a bad idea either.
