The TeamMates Tailgate ventured to the Amherst Jubilee on Sunday June 29th and took registrations for the Mud Drags, held at a field just two miles west of the Buffalo County community.  Dave Schroeder and his wife Joda, along with Adam Smith and his wife LeeAnn and family took registrations for the Dodge Dakota Bighorn and enjoyed many conversations with faithful listeners.  This was the first year for the Mud Drags and we suspect that with the great turn-out from entries and spectators, they will likely do it again in the future.  Tracy Weak of Holdrege was drawn as the qualifier for the final drawing for the Dodge Dakota.  He also took home a bag chair and 2 movie passes to the Cinema 8 Theater in Kearney.  We thank our local sponsors for the TeamMates Tailgate event.  They include Bramer Auction and Realty, Taubenheim Gelbvieh and the Amherst Tractor Pullers Assoc.  Congratulations Tracy and to the great organizers and volunteers associated with the Amherst Mud Drags!
