This was the first time I had been to McCook and was impressed by everything I saw there. The fair was well attended for such a hot Friday evening and quite a few people stopped by and signed up for the truck. One of our previous winners was there as well. He won the military truck that KRVN gave away a few years ago. Chris Hanson and I were set up at the main intersection with the carnival behind us, and food stands surrounding us. Temptation follows me wherever I go! The Fasthorse family from Minnesota entertained on the stage across from us, and there was a karaoke contest later. Great fun with lots of our wonderful listeners!!!
