Lombardi Trophy in Missouri

Once again we made our annual golfing trip to Excelsior Springs, Missouri for the Gregg Williams Tiger Classic.  Those that are familiar with the New Orleans Saints know that Gregg is the defensive coordinator of the Saints, but what you might not know is that he is an alumni of Excelsior Springs High School and comes back each year for the Tiger Classic Golf Tournament.
The Saints were the 2010 Super Bowl champions and on hand was the Lombardi Trophy given to the Super Bowl champs.  The closest most folks will ever get to see one is either on television or possibly at the Hall of Fame.  Not only did we get pictures holding the trophy, but also one picture with Gregg with his NFC Championship ring and his Super Bowl ring on my fingers.
Gregg's son Blake also helped coach the offensive line making this the first time in the history of the Super Bowl that a father and son were winning coaches on a Super Bowl team.
Gregg's youngest son Chase will be a starting freshman linebacker at Virginia Tech this fall.
Despite what the pictures show the trophy is all silver and weighs about 7-8 pounds.
