Barb Maloney, Kim Zeigler, Cassie Zeigler and I made our way to the fair on Saturday evening. We put the truck between the food stands and the carnival, and across from the mechanical bull ride. We had listeners waiting there for us! We had a constant flow of folks waiting to sign up for and check out the Tricked Out Truck. Here again, one of our previous winners stopped by to say hi, and see if their luck would hold a second time. Temptation was too great, and I had the finest steak sandwich I have ever eaten, and I have eaten many! As always seems the case, our great listeners stopped by and visited for a while. They did not even seem disappointed that I am not one of the regulars they hear on the air. I told them, like everyone else that asks, "If you hear me on the air for an extended period, grab all the groceries you can and head for the basement. Something has obviously gone horribly wrong!"
