I read your rant about Johanns. Love it!  I can tell you first hand why Johanns said farmers stand ready to "do our part".  Our producer groups, cattlemen included, lobby his office and we tell him that ag is part of the "solution" and not the "problem".  When I was there in June I tried to explain to them what Carbon sequesteration is and how it works by grazing cattle and harvesting forage crops.  I think they thought I was nuts.  Johanns isn't the worst of it.  The other NE senator, Ben Nelson, bothers me.  He's been real hush-hush.  We don't know what his position is on anything.  He his a swing vote and I guarantee he his getting pressure from the White House. 

Tonight on Fox news one of our state senators will be on there at 8:30, and I am assuming central, tonight.  He will be talking about the tenth amendment.  Great stuff Ann.  I am with ya.  Time to draw a line in the sand, and kick some tail.
