I will be having a couple of surgeries on September 7th that will sideline me for quite a while. The first surgery is called Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion, which is a spinal fusion to stabilize the spinal vertebra and the disc or shock absorber between the vertebra. Lumbar fusion surgery is designed to create solid bone between the adjoining vertebra, eliminating any movement between the bones. The goal of the surgery is to reduce pain and nerve irritation.
The second will be on the neck, as some cleaning from previous surgeries needs to be done. Hopefully the recovery process goes well and I can be back on my feet soon.
In the meantime please give your full support to the great crew that will cover sporting events during my absence, Doug Anderson, Jeremy Rasmussen, Kent Aurich & Mike Eilerts. Hope to talk to you soon!
