Lessons from the Fun Barge

As many of you heard, I had a chance to sign-on the Morning Fun Barge for Stafford as he was out a couple of days. You can learn a lot while being a morning man on a radio station.  For one, I have to hand it so the Ole Captain himself!  It's hard trying to be funny and light-hearted in the morning.  Particularly for me since I'm not a morning person.  (Thank goodness for coffee)  Also, it can be hard being funny by yourself in a studio with no immediate interaction with a human being. Quite often you hear 2 or 3 person morning shows where they can banter and be silly back and forth.  Stafford manages to keep you entertained by himself.  Maybe he's talking to the voices in his head??  I've also learned from working early mornings at KRVN that the week also seems to go faster.  BUT, there's a big price to pay for that.  You sure are tired once the weekend rolls around.  Let's hear it for all the KRVN morning men and the job they do to wake us up each morning.  Thanks guys!
